Poonch, Dec 17: Dilapidated education system in Jammu and Kashmir is enigma before Education minister Naeem Akhter, But situation on ground is exactly opposite.
According to the sources the office of the Zonal Education Officer Mankote was closed during the working hours on Saturday. Many locals showed their resentment over the negligence of the officer and other staff of the said office and said, "The students, teachers and parents of the students who visit during the working hours to the said office suffered a lot ".
The performance of officials deployed in the said office often and always is erratic, they added.
Mohd Aamin, Mohd Jafri and Fogi Rashid said, even though education minister Naeem Akhter is trying his best for the betterment of system, but the cooperation of officials is not with him, so the improvement of system is impossible. They appealed to Akhter to investigate the matter personally and take strong action against all officials of the said office.
While trying to take comments of chief education officer Poonch Lal Hussain, his phone remained not reachable. |
