| Passenger shed awaits completion | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 17: Many of incomplete structures are left in Udhampur district at different areas due to the slow system of concerning departments. Even on the tendering time departments open the tenders and started the work for the reason best known to them through contractors but half way contractors stopped the giving a profit to the blue eyed contractors and waited for release of the full payments.
Even they have shown no types of funds of their pending work but concerning department does not force contractors to complete the structure. The live example is of passenger shed of Sallian talab matadoes stand Udhampur which incomplete since many years.
Some locals of Udhampur Barat Choudary , Arun Kumar , Sham Lal , Amit Singh , Rohit Sharma told Early Times that the passenger shed of Salian Talab matador stand remains incomplete for many years.
They also said that the construction of passanger shed had started Pawan Khajuria at that time he was a municipal chair man in Udhampur town but till date same shed is incomplete and awaiting for completion. They also said that the locals of Udhampur many times complained but the concerning department did not restart the work of shed.
During summer season passangers wait for the matadors and buses from the different areas like Battel Ballian , Mallard , Gardi Ramble etc in hot sunny days and heavy rainy season and other times are facing the problem. When contacted CEO municipality Udhampur Santosh Kumar said that he will try to complete the passengers shed. |
