They alleged local MLA favouring his ranks on privileged positions in health and education sector in the region.
Agitated over poor health services in Border district which recently faced critical health emergency situation due to heavy firing and shelling from Pakistan, locals demanded need to enhance manpower in the region and also levelled allegations against the MLA Nowshera for helping his supporters. In a meeting held at Qila Darhal attended by various elected members of the panchyats including Khaleel Ahmed, Mohd Nawaz, Bashir Ahmed and chaired by Charan Singh, Chairman of the welfare committee the members said instead of listening to the grievances of the suffering people, the MLA Nowshera only is giving heed to his supporters whether it is right or wrong. "Most of the health centres under Nowshera Health block are facing shortage of doctors and people are facing many problems in getting medical treatment, members said, and citied example that out of two gynecologists at CHC, one Inderpal Singh was transferred prematurally leaving the people suffering.
One of the speakers in meeting Khaleel Ahmed said, "Immediately after the transfer of Dr Inderpal the delivery rate at CHC, Nowshera has drastically declined to fifty percent. He said most of the cases were referred to SMGS Hospital and GMC&H Jammu and this adds a financial burden to poor people of area.

Zorawar Singh, a social activist said that not only health sector but transfers in education sector too is being managed and alleged recently Assistant Professor Joinder Singh was transferred prematurely from Degree College, Nowshera while reportedly a relative of the MLA weas retained even after overstay. "Another example of favortism is overstay of BMO, Sunderbani and Eye Assistant Sat Pal Sharma who have been working in Sub District Hospital Sunderbani for the last 10 years and 20 years respectively," said Charan Singh. People of Qilla Darhal alleged that both these doctors are relatives of the Lagislator and enjoing political backing and demanded an inquiry into premature transfers and immediate postings of the doctors at CHC, Nowshera without any further delay otherwise they will come on the roads against the government/Health Ministry.
Most of the Health centres (total 40) under Nowshera Health block are facing shortage of consultants/doctors Out of 29 sanctioned posts of doctors from regular side 17 posts are lying vacant.
"Most of the consultants/doctors are available at CHC, Nowshera while the health institutions in far off areas are facing shortage of the doctors from regular side" said Dr Suresh Gupta , BMO Nowshera.
