| JWAM, Auto Rickshaw operators discuss problems | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 27: An emergency meeting of Jammu Auto Rikshawa Drivers Owners Welfare Association under the chairmanship of Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement and held the detailed discussion over the problems faced by the Auto Rickshaw operating in the Jammu city and the region.
Addressing the protest meeting Sunil Dimple appealed the auto operates to abide by the traffic rules and cooperate with the Traffic police for the smooth regulation of the traffic In the Jammu city. All the auto rikshawas members pledged to abide by the Traffic rules, will operate on meters, with proper uniforms and with complete proper documents. Dimple appealed the Traffic police and the RTO Jammu not to harass the innocent auto operator's while passing their vehicles fitness from the RTO office. Dimple appealed RTO Jammu to revise the Rates of the fare of the auto rickshaws meters as the rates are per old rates fixed. Dimple also urged the RTO Jammu DR Kanathia and ARTO Neraj Sharma Jammu, to stop agent systems of the token renewal, RC Fee, issuance of driving licenses and to stop the corrupt practices in the RTO office as complained by the People and transporters. Dimple urged the RTO D.R Kanathia, ARTO Neeraj Sharma to arrange the auto meters repair mechanics. As the Auto operators are facing problems and not getting the meters repaired from RTO office. Due to no meter repair machines available in RTO Office and Jammu. |
