| CLUJ Champs lifts basketball, volleyball championship | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 27: Cluster University of Jammu in the maiden session has made a benchmark achievement by lifting the basketball and Volleyball Championships in the 2nd State Universities Sports Tournament 2018 held at JU from 22nd to 27th March, 2018.
According to press release, 15 Universities participated in the Sports event which concluded today. CLUJ remained Runners up in Volleyball Women and Badminton Men and also bagged the 3rd position in Table tennis women.
Prof Anju Bhasin Vice Chancellor CLUJ congratulated the young achievers for their brilliant performance in a short preparatory time and ensured full support to propagate Sports in the University.
She exhorted that the victory comes as an overwhelming honour to Cluj. Dr Twinkle Suri, DSW Cluj lauded the strenuous efforts of all the Physical Directors and participants of the constituent colleges of Cluj in this maiden sports achievement. |
