JAMMU, May 29: Five days Basic Civil Defence Training Programme concluded at Dogra Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar Jammu. The programme was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the able guidance of ADGP HG, CD &SDRF, J&K and close supervision of DySP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
In the training camp the students of school were given the knowledge regarding First Aid & Fire Fighting with rescue techniques. The main aim of training programme to felicitate the students with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of First Aid, Rescue Techniques and Disaster Management.
Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director, Gurvinder Kour, Principal of the school highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and requested to conduct such training programmes in future also. At least 60 students and staff members attended the training programme. |
