Jammu, May 29: Inter School District Level Tournament for Boys in the sports discipline of Judo, Kurash, Jeet Kwando, Gymnastic, Karate, Rope Skipping, U/17 &U/14 (Boys/girls) Tennis ball Cricket, & Tennis Cricket U/17 B&G for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu got underway today here at Indoor Complex M.A stadium Jammu & Green Field Gandhi Nagar. In all 300 boys are drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District are taking part in the competitions.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu, while Chanchal Kour DYSSO Jammu is the organizing secretary of the tournament.
The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level Competitions. |
