FMHWs continue with dharna at all districts, demands five months pending salary

JAMMU, Sept 15: The FMPHWs working under 2211-Family Welfare sat on one day Dharna under the chairmanship of Neelam Kumari President of FMPHW's association under in the Shashi Bala Memorial Park Directorate of Health Services, Jammu under the banner of JKMEF.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the FMPHW's association warned the authorities to release the pending salary of FMPHW's workers under Major Head -2211, if the issue has not been resolved/considered immediately they will stop working in various centre scheme included Measles Rubeela (MR), that will be start on 01.09.2018.
Suhsil Sudan President of JKMEF criticized the Govt. for not taking permanent solution of the salary of FMPHW working under 2211 Head family welfare, who are without salary for more than five months. He also said that they have met advisor to Governor BB Vyas previous ally and he had assured that the issue of the salary be salted sourly but till date nothing has been done. The federation has again requested the authorities to take immediate steps falling which future course of action will be announced on 21.08.2018 on Tuesday. It has been further decided that big really will be taken from Govt.Hospital Gandhi nagar, Jammu on 21.08.2018 at 9:00 AM to Divisional Commissioner Office, Jammu.
Prominent amongst others who attend the meeting were Surya Akhter, Sapna Gupta General Secretary, Kamla devi, Soma devi, Pushpa Devi, Swaran Kour, Rani Devi, Urmil Devi, Mamta Devi, Gayatri Devi, Kiran Bala (Poonch) Tubsam and others.
