r.s. pURA, Sept 15: 2 J&K Girls Bn. NCC, Government Degree College R.S. Pura launched "Swachhta Samaroh" as part of 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' campaign under the supervision of Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary, NCC Incharge and Prof. Bindu Kumari, NCC Convener and guidance of Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the college. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Dileep Raina. As part of the inaugural event, a cleanliness drive was organized in the college premises by NCC Incharge, NCC Convener and other members of NCC Committee Prof. Esha Abrol and Prof. Renu Sharma. A total of 38 cadets participated in the drive and cleared the garden area of the college. The waste collected was segregated and disposed of in colour coded bins. The cadets also interacted with the other students of the college and highlighted the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation. |
