Poetry Recitation held

jammu, Sept 15: The event of Poetry Recitation was conducted today at 'Display Your Talent-2018-19' organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Parmeshwari Sharma, alongwith the judges and Teacher Incharge of the event felicitated the winners.
In Poetry Recitation, 72 students participated who recited various self-written and other poems which have been written by eminent poets and scholars. The First prize was won by Ashish from Dogra Law College, The Second Position was shared by Sonia Sharma from the Department of Hindi and Parmeet Kaur from GDC, Akhnoor. Tanu Sudan from JIAR BAMS secured the Third Position. The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Komal Khanna from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Harmeet Kour from GDC Kathua. Vidyaratan Aasi, Prof. Veena Gupta and Dr. Sanjay Mishra were the adjudicators and Dr. Rajni Bala was the Teacher In-charge.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Garima Gupta (Assistant Dean) Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor) and Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer), Rajat Salgotra, Bharti Slathia, Sunny Singh, Shumalini, Sachin, Tegdhar Kaur, Richa Sharma and Saloni Verma did the Hall Management. The sound was operated by Kulbhushan Thakur and Arif Paul.
