Udhampur, Sept 25: After decades of relentless struggle,the people of Tehsil Moungri District Udhampur got a motorable bridge sanctioned at Saddal Nallah and construction work thereof started by the PWD (R&B) division Udhampur, but seven years since then, the bridge is far from completion, putting serious question mark on the work culture within PWD.
Locals while Talking to Early Times said that the people were extremely pained by the abandonment of the work on the bridge. They are facing extreme difficulties and huge risk to their life in the absence of bridge at 07.900km ahead of kainthgali. Ironically, there is none in the ruling elite to pay attention towards the grave issue and stop the cruel joke with the people. One virtually shudders to see the ever wrecked road portion (Kucha Scupper) in the deep bedded Saddal Nallah where the precious human life is always unsafe.
"Despite repeated pleas to the authorities concerned no one pay heeds to Our Genuine demands" they added. |
