Poonch, Sept 25: Depending upon the single source communication in twelve forward villages of Balakote sector near LoC were suffering at the hands of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd ( BSNL) as the services of the wireless loop (WLL) the only means of communication is said to be down for the last couple of days due to technical snag sources said here today.
The affected villages include Dharati, Suhala, Panjani Chaper Dhara, Burthi, Kangra, Batori, Tarkundi, Dabbi, Bassomi and Famgot. The villagers alleged the lackadaisical approach of the telecom company for its delay to restore the single communication source in the area as these villages had no service of internet or mobiles etc, they added.
Balakote social activist zaheer Ahmed Khan urged the district authorities to take necessary measures to restore the snapped communication service restored at an earliest.
Meanwhile talking to Early Times Sub Divisional Magistrate Dr Tanveer Ahmed Khan said the matter will be taken up with concerned authorities and will be restored as soon as possible. |
