Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: The resentment in BJP over selection of candidates by dropping senior leaders and giving mandate to new entrants in the party is growing by the day, with more senior leaders expressing their open opposition to the party decision.
According to sources after the open revolt by party's women wing against the decision, members and senior leaders of party's SC Morcha have also shown their resentment over the selection of candidates for ensuing municipal elections in Jammu.
Sources said that in ward 61 of Raipur Damana Mandal SC Morcha of the party has launched a strong protest against party leadership over the changing of name of a candidate cleared by Election Committee of the party by a new entrant in the party.
Sources said the senior leader of the party whose name was cleared by BJP's Election Committee was shocked to see the name of a new comer in the list who has joined party few days back.
Sources said the senior leader whose name has been replaced with the name of a new entrant was shocked to see the list and when he brought the matter before senior leadership it failed to give him a satisfactory reply.
Sources said a former Minister changed the name through manipulation last moment which has generated resentment among the members who have decided to revolt against the party and take up issue before High Command.
