Congress candidate Geeta Devi files nomination paper

Jammu, Sept 25: With a sole motive to serve the people of Janipur, the Congress candidate Ms Geeta Devi wife of Sunil Kumar resident of Janipur Colony today filed her nomination paper for ward No 37 in the office of concerned Returning Officer at Patoli Morh alongwith hundreds of supporters amidst beating of drums chanting of slogans in her favour and in favour of Congress party. ontesting election of Corporator for Jammu Municipal Corporation for ward no 37, Janipur, she started moved in the shape of big rally and reached the office of Returning Officer and there she filed her nomination papers in front of the hundreds of her supporters. She was heavily garlanded by the supporters and looking charming and energetic. After filing the nomination papers, she addressed the supporters and ensured them she will work untiringly for the welfare of the locality and her ward. She said that overwhelming support of all walks of people has encouraged her much and she will remain committed to her job. She said that service of humankind would be her main agenda and nothing can budge her from that. She also said that honesty would be her prime motive and she will never tolerate any kind of wrong doings.
