JAMMU, Sept 25: Umair Mugal (MBA student) filed nomination papers from Ward -No 5 Khatikan-Talab Jammu as Congress candidate in presence of party senior leader Vikram Malhotra along with other party leaders and supporters of concerned ward.
Umair Mugal who has recently joined Congress reached the TRC and field nomination papers at11 am. Umair Mugal is son retire Deputy Director Health Jammu Dr Shahid Mugal and nephew of Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal who is the Incharge of Chenab valley PDP.
Umair Mugal while addressing the media before filing the nomination papers appealed the ward members to cast their votes and assured to fulfill the demands and issues being faced by them due to callous attitude of the government.
"I take up all the issues of the people of the ward to the concerned departments after voted to power," he added and said, "My father is still working as social activist and served the people of Chenab Valley including the Jammu city related to the problems be it healthcare or other issues. |
