Jammu, Oct 3: On the eve of 150th birth anniversary of father of nation Mahatma Gandhi District administration Rajouri felicitated Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri for its contribution to society in the field of education, emancipation and social awareness and peace building. The brief felicitation ceremony was held just before the commencement of a poetic and cultural event titled as " Jashn e Aman" at Govt. P. G. College Rajouri. The event was attended by a galaxy of poets and artists from various states of India, academicians, educationists, bureaucrats, politicians civil society members and jam packed audience from the twin distts of Rajouri and Poonch.
The award was received by Farooq Muztar renowned educationist and literary figure of the state. |
