Top RSS leaders step in to save BJP in JMC elections
10/3/2018 11:10:51 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3: Finding it difficult to counter anger against BJP MLAs in general and former ministers in particular in Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) elections, top RSS leaders stepped into to save BJP candidates contesting the prestigious poll. Top RSS leaders have started convening meeting of RSS workers at different places to exploit their sentiments in the name of nationalism and Hindutava.
Credible sources said that a meeting of RSS workers were convened after starting of the campaign in which most of workers attacked BJP ex-ministers and legislators and flatly refused to work for the party in the JMC elections. RSS workers told their leaders that they would not support BJP candidates at cost and would remain neutral in the civic bodies elections.
Realizing that anger of workers against BJP leaders and ministers was so high, RSS leaders brazenly played emotive card, which they have been playing to exploit sentiments of innocent RSS workers since long and asked workers to ensure victory of BJP candidates to protect 'nationalism' in J&K.
Credible sources said that only those RSS leaders are supporting BJP in the JMC elections, who have extracted maximum personal benefits from former BJP ministers at the cost of country and Sangh workers. While as majority of the Sangh workers were ignored and humiliated by former BJP ministers, about half a dozen top leaders of RSS had extracted maximum personal benefits and only these RSS leaders are now trying to exploit sentiments of innocent workers in the name of nationalism.
