Udhampur, Oct 3: The week long Summer Special Camp organized by NSS units on the theme "Swachchta Hi Sewa" concluded today here at Government Degree College Principal of the College Dr. Udhey Bhanu was the chief guest at the Valedictory function.
The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by NSS Song. A report on activities of seven day camp was presented by NSS Programme Officer. Dr. Anita Sharma.
A cultural show featuring Skit on the theme "Swachchta", Patriotic Songs, Folk Songs and Dance was also presented by the NSS Volunteers.
Later, the Principal of the College distributed prizes among the winners of symposium, Poster Making, Slogan Writing on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted the importance of cleanliness in our daily life and motivated the volunteers to follow Gandhian Principles. Vote of thanks was presented by NSS Programme Officer Prof. Samosh Kumar,
