| Harni village without water for last one week | | |

MENDHAR, Nov 26: Several villages of Harni area of Mendhar are without water supply as its pumping station is lying defunct for the last about one week.
The villagers alleged that motor of Harni PHE Pumping Station went out of order a week back. With this, the water supply to several adjoining villages and hamlets has been affected. The matter was also brought to the notice of PHE staff at Mendhar Sub Division, but they claimed that fault pertained to PHE Mechanical wing Poonch. The villagers urged upon the higher authorities at Poonch to ensure water supply to the area. President Kissan Mazdoor Mendhar Majid Khan Boby have urged upon the Deputy Commissioner Poonch to come to the rescue of helpless public. |
