Poonch, Nov 26: In spite of boycott in Local Bodies Election by regional political parties, Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) has participated but the administration has failed to conduct uncluttered elections.
According to the sources, "there are many voters who had already casted their votes in MC Election, are contesting/participating Panchayat election". Locals have expressed their strong resentment over the negligence of District Election Authorities Poonch and accused the Booth Level Officers of failure to perform their duties.
Locals have appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik to take notice and suspend all those elected panchs/sarpanches who have already cast their votes in municipal elections. |
