| ODF slogan proves to be hollow | | |

Poonch, Nov 26: Despite declaring open defacation free ( ODF) district , several Educational Institution have non functional washrooms and toilets forcing students and staff to go to open mocking the ODF which proved out to be hollow slogan sources said here today.
Sources said the students of various schools have mocked over the hollow slogan of ODF , yet they were forced to sit in the open for attending natures calls in far flung areas of the border district as the toilets and washroom of the schools were nonfunctional since a long and Swatch Bharat Mission which was said to be success in the Poonch district neglected these schools the sources added.
They said the female students and the staff face an embarrassing situation during the school hours due to lack of basic ammenity. They alleged that even some schools don't have the facility of water supply and the most amazing thing was that the matter was several times brought under the notice of concerned authorities they further added. |
