Udhampur, Nov 26: District Legal Services Authority,Udhampur , celebrated constitutional ('Law Day') at District Court Complex under the supervision of Sanjay Parihar Principal District and Sessions Judge, (Chairman) DLSA, Udhampur. Programme was organized under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority Udhampur. Programme wasattended by Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar, Senior Superitendent of police Rayees Ahmed Bhat, Additional Session Judge C.L Bavouria, Sub Judge (CJM) Balbir Lal Jaswal, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Udhampur, Sandeep Kour (Sub-Judge) Secy DLSA Udhampur, Romesh Lal Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate, Additional Mobile Magistrate Anjana Rajpurt, Munsiff. Junaid Ahmed Mir, District Mobile Magistrate Udhampur, Bar President J.D Salathia,. Beside others Bar members, litigants, citizens and PLVs were present on the occasion. Throwing light on the importance of the Day, Sanjay Parihar said that constitution day is celebrated in connection with the first sitting of the Constituent Assembly to draft the Constitution of India, which provides equality before Law to every citizen of the country without any discrimination.
"Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Kour Secy, DLSA threw light on the purpose of celebrating November 26, as Constitution Day' and asked the gathering to take benefits of the different schemes. She also advised the gathering to know their rights and duties briefed the aims and objectives of the various schemes and programmes being initiated by the Legal Services Authority Udhampur, apart from the importance of the Day. |
