Jammu, Nov 26: The NSS wing organized an extension Lecture on (Indian Constitution). The Lecturer was delivered by Dr. Piyush Kant Sharma, Assistant Professor (Political Science), GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The key note address was presented by Principal of college Dr. Romesh Chander, were he stated that the Constitution Day is being celebrated across India on 26th November, 2018. In his address he also stated that it is an attempt to pay tribute to the Great Men and Women who gave the country its Constitution and remembering the Stellar contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Its Architect. He also wished that may this day inspire the students fraternity in particular and public in general to know more about our Constitution. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Co-ordinator NSS gave the formal address where she emphasized the importance of holding and organizing such events. The lecture was started with the reading of the preamble by Prof. Vijeeta Anand. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Savita Rana, Department of political Science, Govt. MAM College, Jammu. The other staff members who were presented on the event were Prof. Karan Singh, Prof. Davinder Kumar Sharma, Prof. Meenakshi Thakur, Prof. Deepti Gupta, Prof. Rashu Sharma, Prof. Aatiya Noor, Prof. Aafia Zaman and Prof. Shalini Gupta. |
