KAtra, Nov 26: The State level Inter-Division Volleyball Tournament under the age group of U-14/17/19 years was being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi in collaboration with SMVDSB was concluded today at Shrine Board's Sports Complex, Katra.
In this tournament the competition is being organized in the discipline of Volleyball for the players of the age group of under 14/17/19 years in both boys and girls sections respectively. In all 150 young players took part in the two day long tournament.
While interacting with the participating players of the tournament, Director SMVDSB, Katra, Ashok Kumar complimented all participants for displaying good conduct and game. He congratulated the Champions and Runners up team on his behalf and also on behalf of Simrandeep Singh , Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB Katra.
In Under 19 Boys section, Kashmir Division beat Jammu Division by 3-2. The set scores were 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-25 and 25-20
In Under 19 Girls section, Jammu Division beat Kashmir Division by 3-1. The set scores were 25-16, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-20. |
