Jammu, July 31: The three day workshop organized by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), on administrative skills for the Principals and Headmasters of Jammu district under SAMAGRA SHIKSHA at Teachers Bhawan Gandhi Nagar concluded today.
The workshop was inaugurated by worthy Director School Education Anuradha Gupta (KAS).While interacting with HOIs of Jammu District, she stressed upon implementation of various innovations to enhance quality of education system, making it more accountable and effective.
Academic calendar of each school should displayed, online monitoring portal made compulsory ,quality improvement initiatives like shining star, School House System also implemented with efficiency at each school.
159 Principals and Headmasters from all the 15 zones of Jammu district are participating in the event, which is being organized under the overall supervision of Tripta Manyal HOD (course coordinator) and Poonam Sharma HOD .
Balbir Sudan, District Education and Planning Officer, Vineet Kohli CA Suresh Gouria Sr. Lect., Raj Kumar Chadda Sr. Lect., Romesh Kumar Sr. Lect. and Sugandh Lect. delivered lectures in the workshop on various topics including "Relationship between Head of the Institution, Staff and Students, Leave Rules, Educational Planning and Stress Management guidance and counseling, child protection , financial management, SMDC, NVC, income tax/taxation etc. "
Principal DIET Jammu, Roshan Lal was the motivating force behind the training programme, who monitored the programme and interacted with the participants. Later-on, he presented vote of thanks. |
