Udhampur, July 31: An important road link between Jaganoo-Jonu-Tanal which joins other villages is in dilapidated condition owing to apathy of authorities concerned who are doing nothing other than shifting the blame, said Mohinder a local.
Potholes and water logging at various places has been causing inconvenience to the people. In absence of drains rain water comes out on the road which creates problems.
Locals informed that the road is posing a threat to human lives as there is a high risk of accident. They also informed that the situation becomes worst during rainy days due to water-logging.
Sources informed that approximately one year ago work was started on this road by concerned authorities but awaits completion to this day.
The locals have appealed to the DC Udhampur Piyush singla to look into the matter and do needful. |
