Jammu, July 31: As a part of SBSI programme, NSS Unit of GDC R. S. Pura visited the adopted village Jindlehr.
According to press release, rof. BinduKumari, NSS Programme Officer and Prof. S. K. Dhar, Associate Prof., Department of Botany organized the event. During the visit they had a vast discussion with the Sarpanch ChanderPrabha, panches, primary School incharge and senior citizens in the panchyat-ghar of the village.
The NSS volunteers cleaned the premises of the panchayat ghar and primary school. They drew informative paintings on the walls of the panchayat ghar and primary school based on Swachh Bharat and Swatch Bharat, methods of solid waste disposal and management, use of dustbin and open defecation to create awareness among the villagers.
