Jammu, July 31: Cambridge International School (CIS) Purkhoo camp today organized a self defence training programme.
According to press release, Tarsem Sharma, Founder/President, International Bukido Federation (Mixed Martial Arts) was present as special trainer. Girls from class 3rd to 7th were taught different techniques of self defense. Tarsem Sharma initially elaborated the concept and need of self defense training in today's time. The girls were encouraged by him. Many instances were shared in case they are intimidated by the attacker, like if someone tries to hold a hand, pull the shirt-collar or slap.
At the end practical session was held where girls had to display the skill of self defense. The session was monitored by the Principal and the Respective teachers. They offered their gratitude to Tarsem Sharma for organizing such a meaningful session. |
