Spontaneous compulsion to profile Human Relationship | | Mahadeep Singh Jamwal | 11/15/2019 11:19:43 PM |
| Our instinct to survive as a human creates an instinctive need for us to form human relationships. "It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being." These are the words of John Joseph Powell, a Jesuit priest and author of many books that makes us to realize and to understand what for relations are required. Humans have fundamental need to belong and form relations. Positive relations lead to higher well-being, personal development and well functioning societies, whereas lack of dysfunctional relationship lead to poor psychological well-being, unhealthy development and conflict or violence. If we have to sum up the true concept of relations we find that the most important thing in our life is our personal relationships. Good quality relationships increase resilience, happiness and protect us from depression and other related afflictions. This can only be said about mature, fulfilling relationships. We are at liberty to develop relations with persons of our choice. We have the options to make relations with other persons in business relations, organization membership, community membership, relations with society. The relations must be of the quality which increases our values in the eyes of our community. The relations should be of such basics which raise our energy levels, give us reasons to smile and be optimistic. Basically relationship is trustworthiness for each other, care for each others, freely sharing any good news or bad news with each other. A good relation based on foundation of good understating, consensus, compromising and caring for each other matters. The qualities like honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, compromise, unconditional favor and acceptance is the basic foundation upon which the storey of relations stands. Relationship is a massive term in which all kinds of relations like love, friendship, relatives, etc. are included. It can be in form of blood, marriage, social or business form. Social relationship, interpersonal relationship, intimate relationship and ethical relationship are kind of relationship. Any type of relationship, whether it is between family members, people we work with, friends, or customers we serve, takes a lot of work to maintain and build upon. And much of the cement that improves our relationships is developing trust, compassion, and acceptance of the other as well differences must be taken into account - no two people are alike or have the same interests, and while you will naturally seek commonalities to share, accommodating both differences and compatibilities is essential for long-lasting connection. Patience is essential to a healthy relationship. There are times when others will act in a way not expected in relations, who may bring fissures in the relations but patience acts as shock absorber and a force to keep relations intact. The healthy relationship is boosted because of honesty in relations. We should communicate our feelings openly, and expect the other person to do the same. Over time, this builds trust. Kindness is extremely important to maintaining healthy relationships. You need to be considerate of others' feelings and other people need to be considerate of yours. Kindness will nurture our relationships. Respect is a cornerstone of all healthy relationships. If you don't have respect for another person, it will have a negative impact on all of our interactions. The relationship expects some basic rights such as the right to emotional support, to be heard by the other and to respond, to have your own point of view, even if this differs from your partner's, to live free from accusation and blame, to be respectfully asked, rather than ordered and these rights if maintained enhance the relationship. The main types of human relationships are family relationships, romantic relationships, friendships, casual relationships and political relationships.. People develop relationships out of trust, common interests and shared experiences. 1. In family relationships one has no choice or we don't get to choose our parents and siblings, our relationship with our family members or extended family members is a legal, natural or inherited relation. We cannot deny this and they are our family members not by our choice. 2. Romantic relationships are based on understanding and are the most rewarding of all human relationships. However, these relationships can be disastrous if one fail to meet the challenges effectively. It is mostly believed that these relations are outcome of emotions of the upcoming adolescence age and the feelings in them that these are the most meaningful relations for them. A great deal of evidence suggests that the romantic relationships are often full of conflict because of lack of guidance from mature souls. Failed relations happen for many reasons and failed relations are often a great source of great psychological anguish. 3. The casual relationship is generally physical and emotional relationship between two people without necessarily demanding or expecting the extra commitments. Casual relationships sometimes include mutual support, affection and enjoyment, which underpin other forms of loving relationship. A casual relationship is sometimes referred to as a "no strings attached" relationship. 4. The professional relationship is career development relations and is always ongoing interaction. 5. The political relations are social intriguing relations to gain power and authority. Some of the biggest challenges in relationships come from the fact that most people enter a relationship in order to get something: they're trying to find someone who's going to make them feel good. In reality, the only way a relationship will last is if you see your relationship as a place that you go to give, and not a place that you go to take- true concept of developing relations in the words of Anthony Robbins an American businessman, author, and philanthropist? |
