Those hiding travelling history posing big threat to society | | | Early Times Report jammu, Mar 24: With three more test positive for Coronavirus in Srinagar, one thing has become clear that those who have hide their travel history are solely responsible for spreading of this deadly virus in J&K and Ladakh. In the morning it was official informed that two two persons were declared positive by the administration, while late in the evening one more people, a 22 year old man admitted in GMC Baramulla also tested positive. Credible sources said one among the infected is from Hyderpora, while as the other from Natipora area of Srinagar district and both have foreign travel history. They said one of them hailing from Hyderabad had returned from Saudi Arabia on 16th March in the same flight 443-AirIndia, which 67 year old woman from Khanyar had travelled and tested positive on 18th March, becoming the first COVID-19 case from Kashmir. According to Kashmir based news agency, the other 57 year old person from Natipora Srinagar, had recently escaped from Chest Disease Hospital, causing great concern to the administration adding that he had returned from New Delhi, after being a part of a Tableegi Jamat, attended by people from Malysia and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Jammu issued a notice to identity people who have travelled abroad. Through the medium of this notice, the residents of Jammu District or adjoining areas are requested to come forward and inform administration in case they have travelled to India from abroad after 10th of March 2020, even if there is no visible flue like symptoms. General public is also requested to inform in case they are aware of foreign travel history after 10th of March 2020 of any person in their neighborhood, family, friends, social circle in the interest of public at large. The identity of the caller shall not be revealed. |
