Srinagar , March 25
Four more people, all from Bandipora district, have tested positive for Covid-19, Principal Secretary, Planning & Development & Information, Rohit Kansal tweeted on Wednesday.
This takes the number of coronavirus patients to eight in Kashmir valley and the total tally to 11 in all of Jammu and Kashmir.
Rohit Kansal said preliminary findings suggested the four were close contacts of Srinagar patient who tested positive on Tuesday.
"All five of them reported to have participated together in a religious event," he added.
Three cases were reported from Jammu earlier this month. |
