JAMMU, June 19: Congress held a strong protest demonstration and sought high level probe and action against the culprits in the tragic death of two nephews of a Covid victim at the cremation ground in Jammu yesterday.
The senior Congress leaders held a strong protest demonstration outside PCC HQ Jammu demanding high level probe and stern action against the culprits in the most shameful and tragic incident leading to the casualty of two nephews of Covid victim, when they have gone to cremation ground to perform last rites. It is highly inhuman as well as shameful act on part of the entire administrative machinery and the result of serious negligence and culpability.
Led by vice president PCC and former minister Raman Bhalla, chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Incharge District President and former minister Yogesh Sawhney, General secretary PCC Manmohan Singh, and president DCC Rural Th Hari Singh Chib, Chairman OBC Deptt Suresh Dogra and others, the protesters raised slogans seeking high level probe and stern action against culprits besides compensation and jobs to the next of kin. They sought registration of FIR and arrest of all guilty of the crime against humans and sought high level independent judicial probe.
