Jammu, Aug 17: A National Level Quiz on the theme Mathematical Logic was organised by Department of Mathematics of Govt. Degree College Darhal. Principal of the College Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia appreciated the role of Organizing Secretary and HoD Mathematics Dr. Ather Aziz Raina for making this event a grand success.
He said that it was for the first time that GDC Darhal succeeded in organizing a National Level event. He said that the faculty of the College is making all out efforts in making this institution a better place of learning. Giving details of the Quiz Dr. Raina HoD Mathematics told that overall 223 participants took part in the competition.
He said that the response of the Quiz was overwhelming as a large number of participants from University of Kashmir, University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, Central University of Kashmir, Delhi University, VIT Vellore, BGSB University, SMVD University, Kurukshetra University, Barkatullah University, MD University Rohtak, Sagar Institute of Research, Assam University Silchar, degree college’s of UT of J&K and Ladakh, and many more took part in the competition. The participants getting more than 40 percent were provided with e certificates. The National Quiz provided a golden opportunity to the students during these tough times of Covid-19 lockdown. |
