| Forest Dept retrieves 7 Kanals land in Purmandal Forest Range | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Aug 17: Forest Department removed encroachment on 7 kanals of forest land and also seized iron angle poles during anti-encroachment drive in Compartment 23/B of Balole Forest Block following in Purmandal Forest Range and Samba Forest Division .
A team led by Rakeshwar Singh Block Forest Officer Balole along with frontline field staff of Purmandal range in the close supervision of Mohd. Salim Malik Range Forest Officer Purmandal and overall supervision of Som Dutt Khajuria DFO Samba .
Forest team successfully retrieved the encroached land from land encroachers. The said forest team also removed fencing of angle iron poles and wire.
This land was under illegal possessions of Encroachers since many years. The operation was carried in a top confidential manner and the forest team successfully retrieved 7 kanals forest land from Enchrocher’s .Som Dutt Khajuria DFO Samba said that forest department is taking all the measures to prevent encroachment on forest land at every cost and he also appreciated the work of forest team. |
