Kishtwar, June 9: Taking strong note of sharing of sacrilegious morphed video in a WhatsApp group, Chatroo police booked and arrested a 30 year old shopkeeper from Mughal Maidan Tehsil for creating religious disharmony and a threat to peace and tranquility. As per the details available with Early Times, Chatroo police registered FIR No. 31/2021 U/S 295-A, 153-A of IPC against Jaffar Nawaz (30 yrs) Son of Ghulam Qadir, R/o Waithana Mughal Maidan after he shared the morphed video of a holy religious place in a local WhatsApp group. Speaking to Early Times a senior police official confirmed the registration and arrest of Jaffar Nawaz adding that the inquiry has been started. The police urged the people not to share any post that will create law and order problem as well as spread the communal disharmony in the society.
