| Congress distributes dry ration among needy in Ward No 3 | | |

JAMMU, June 9: In continuation to reach out to needy in pandemic situation, District General Secretary Congress and his team of activists today distributed dry ration packets among certain sections of people in Ward No 3 in Jammu East Assembly constituency.
The distribution of dry ration packets was done in presence of local citizens by the Congressmen. The locals highly appreciated the gesture of young Congress leaders and activists to reach out to the needy families through this ration distribution drive. Gurmeet Singh and his team had also come forward to help the poor, destitute and needy earlier by distributing dry ration during this crisis situation, when most of the economic activities are affected due to Corono disease. Gurmeet Singh appealed right thinking and conscious people to come forward and contribute their might in reducing agonies and problems of needy people who are in distress presently due to economic hardships. There is already a direction from congress high command JKPCC President GA Mir and JKPCC Vice President Raman Bhalla to activists of the party to render their services in whatever way to help the needy and deserving people who are facing economic crisis and are on the verge of starvation, he added. Prominent among those who accompanied Gurmeet Singh included Ward No 3, President Hardavinder, Ward No 15, President Raj Kumar Sodhi, Suman Gupta, Manohar Joshi, Sudesh Kumari, Amarpreet Singh, Sahil Verma, Poli Devi beside others. |
