Traffic Police City launches special drive in visible offences

Jammu, June 9: In order ensure effective Traffic management system and hassle free vehicular movements, Traffic Police City Jammu today launched a special drive in visible offences like without crash helmets, safety belts, over speed, rash and negligent driving, wrongly parked vehicles etc.
“The main objective of the special drives was to aware the transporters, drivers and general public regarding the Traffic Rules and Regulations”, said Koshal Sharma JKPS, Senior Supdt of Police, Traffic City Jammu and he further added that the people should follows the Traffic Rules and Regulations for their own safety as well as for the safety of others.
Koshal directed all the traffic officers to ensure strict implementation of traffic rules in their area of responsibilities and booked the violators under M.V. Act. Moreover the people are requested to adhere to all traffic rules, and make a habit of wearing safety belt and crash helmet for their safety and larger interest of their family.
The drive was led by Shivali Kotwal, DySP (T) City North Jammu, Sunil Singh, DySP (T) City South Jammu and areas i.e. Bishnah, RS Pura, Akhnoor, Domana, Nagrota, etc were led by Neeraj Paddyar, DySP Traffic City Rural Jammu under the supervisions of Addl. SP Traffic Pardeep Singh JKPS and overall supervisions of SSP Traffic City Jammu, Koshal Sharma. Moreover, the Special drive is being monitored by ADGP Traffic J&K, T. Namgyal IPS.
