Jammu, July 3: An urgent meeting of AIMCCC organisation was called at Jagti township today to discuss urgent issues related to long pending unresolved problems of KP's under the chairmanship of president Desh Rattan Pandita. Unfortunately yesterday's storm created electric breakdown in whole Jagti township, resulting in blocking of drinking water and electricity. The concerned agencies ie Power Dev Deptt Jammu and Relief organisation Jammu is requested to get restored both electricity and drinking water on top priority to save the lives of ailing patients who are on oxygen concentrators or with other chronic health ailments besides senior citizens in this humid and high temperature in congested buildings at Jagti township. If delayed, it will take so many lives when Covid-19 has already taken a lot. AIMCCC had previously got approved funds for digging borewells at Jagti which were put in dustbin. The organization had also suggested digging of borewells at other camp/noncamps on same pattern. This time if would have been dug could have proved very beneficial both practically and financially and would have provided pure drinking water. Due to Present impure drinking water, various diseases have developed among the Colony inmates. While discussing the problems sh Desh Rattan Pandita said that AIMCCC has also been requesting for last one year for alloting of fresh Ambulance to Distt Hospital Jagti which was always ignored by the administration. Same position is with ultrasound/xray machines at hospital. People are suffering badly.
