Early Times Report

Vijaypur, July 3: The people of ward numbers 10/11 of Vijaypur area, under the chairmanship of Nikki Mahajan, demonstrated and raised slogans against the electricity department near Vijaypur Chowk and SDM office. The villagers alleged that the electricity department is only concerned with the recovery of their outstanding bills.
The people alleged that they never get regular electricity from this sub-station. Sometimes the wire breaks and sometimes the electric pole falls. At the same time, sometimes the machine malfunctions, most of the time the power remains missing.
The power cut due to the fault since last Friday night is yet to be restored. What does the department know about how common people are spending day and night in this sultry summer? SDM Vijaypur and ADC Samba reached the spot and pacified the people and assured that soon the electrical infrastructure would be repaired.
