Early Times Report JAMMU, July 3: A three-day online faculty development program on Training Needs Analysis was conducted with effect from 1st July - 3rd July 2021 by Teacher Education Wing, SCERT J&K, Jammu on the directions of Principal Secretary to Govt., School Education Department, B.K.Singh IFS and under the guidance of Director SCERT J&K, Prof. Veena Pandita and overall supervision of Shri Surinder Kumar. The program was inaugurated by Director Prof. Veena Pandita, who apprised the participants about the significance of systematic approach to trainings and adopt the same in all upcoming training programmes. The welcome address was presented by Joint Director, SCERT J&K Jammu Surinder Kumar. The program aimed at developing the knowledge and skills among the DIET faculty regarding the analysis of needs of the training process before conducting a training program, which may help in increasing employee's involvement in their job and therefore increasing the job satisfaction and achieving the learning outcomes of any training programs. The program was a blend of theoretical and practical experiences involving discussions, resource lectures, interactive sessions, group activities, etc. Fifty officers from 10 DIETs of Jammu division, 5 from each attended this program. The resource persons in this program included Dr. V.P.S. Raju, Professor, NIEPA, New Delhi; Dr. J.N. Baliya, HoD, Dept. of Educational studies, Central University, Jammu; Dr. Aman, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Educational studies, Central University,Jammu and Dr. Sunita Zalpuri, Formerly Dean and Head, Centre for Good Governance, IMPARD J&K. |
