Early Times Report SAMBA, Jan 24: As a part of ongoing nationwide celebrations of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to celebrate 75 years of India's Independence, an outreach programme on Amrit Mahotsav and Covid Appropriate Behavior at Samba concluded today. On the last day of five day public announcement for awareness of Covid Appropriate Behaviour by Field Outreach Bureau, Kathua of Regional Outreach Bureau, J&K, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, a drawing/painting competition was also organised at GHSS, Rajpura, Samba in the presence of Parveen Akhtar, Principal GHSS, Rajpura and other staff members. Public announcements regarding Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and vaccination were done in Ban-Galar, Pangdour, Mawa, Rajpura etc. with the distribution of masks and stickers at various offices and market places. Earlier, a drawing competition was organized at GHSS Rajpura, in which about 15 students participated. First position was bagged by Anjali Sharma of class 12th, whereas second prize was won by Shalani Devi of class 12th and third positions were bagged by two students namely Narinder Kumar, 12th and Riya Sharma of class 12th. |
