| ‘PDD employees don’t want to rectify technical snags’ | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 24: Residents of the Rajouri area staged a massive protest against the Power Development Department for its failure to restore the electricity for the past one week.
Protesters said, “The PDD employees are least bothered about restoring electricity and their pleas to address the technical snag have fallen into deaf ears. For the past one week we have been running from pillar to post but no one is listening to us.”
They said, “Today we blocked the road and the PDD employees came here. It seems no government exists on the ground.”
They threatened to intensify the protests if the department fails to restore the electricity and if employees don’t mend their ways. |
