| GDC Thannamandi organizes symposium on "National Girl Child Day" | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Jan 24: NSS unit of GDC Thannamandi in collaboration with Women Development Cell of the college organized a symposium on the theme "Save the Girl Child". The online programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. A good number of students participated in the online symposium. It is a high time to broaden our mindset and address this issue effectively. Life is beautiful and set is full filled by our mother, sister, wife and daughter "Girls are the spirit of our Nation. Save them and stop their exploitation. Let our daughter grow, be her friend not her foe". Prof. Muhammad Shoket NSS Programme Officer welcomed the participants.
The judges of the event were Dr. Nahiem-Un-Nisa HoD Arabic, Dr. Shokit Ali HoD Urdu and Waqar Ahmed Gorsi Chief Librarian. In the symposium, Rajab-ul-Sadiq of BSc. Sem 1st secured first position where as Maheem of Sem 5th scored second position and Sobia Kosser of Sem 3rd bagged third position. The programme was concluded by formal vote of thanks presented by Dr. Nahiem-Un-Nisa, Convener Women Development Cell. |
