RM Public School celebrates 10th Foundation Day

JAMMU, Jan 24: The seed of education that was sown in form of RM Public School 10 years ago has grown into a healthy well respected and sought after school. The school celebrated 10 years of excellence in education in form of 10th Foundation Day in its premises today with enthusiasm and zeal.
The day started with thanking the almighty and seeking the blessings in form of Saraswati Poojan and Havan by Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Director RMPS Rakshan Mengi and Director of Pushp Vatika Risheek Mengi. The Havan, which was followed by Kanya Poojan and Langar, was also attended by the Vice Principal, Administrator and staff of the school. Also present on the occasion were Harish, Headmaster Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar, Amit, Incharge Higher Secondary Wing, Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar, Ajit, Incharge Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar and Sushma, Incharge Pushp Vatika, among others.
Taking forward the culture of giving back to society, the ‘Go Green’ plantation drive was held with all the dignitaries planting and adopting one plant each outside the school premises with pledge to take care of it. The students, who joined the celebrations online, also planted trees at their homes. Director Rakshan Mengi also wished everyone while reiterating the dream to take the mission of our founder Principal late Dev Dutt Mengi further. He thanked everyone for their dedication, honesty and commitment to bring in excellence. The Vice Principal of the school Kaajal Bhasin also wished everyone a happy foundation day while insisting that we need to work continuously to take the institution to greater heights.
Event ended with the chairman of the school, Rameshwar Mengi congratulating staff, students and the parents for their contributions made towards the growth of school in all the ways and said, “We will continue with our mission to educate with excellence and contribute to build nation.”
