Early Times Report JAMMU, June 8: Shri Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Government Degree College Samba and Food Craft Institute (FCI), Jammu have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster academic excellence and skill development opportunities for students. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of SPPND GDC, Sambaand Prof. Jyoti Bhatii, Principal of FCI, in a ceremony held at the premises of SPPND GDC, Samba. The collaboration between these esteemed institutions aims to facilitate a range of initiatives including outcome-based training, internship programs, faculty exchange programs, student exchange programs, placement services and related academic services. By combining the strengths and resources of both institutions, this partnership seeks to provide students with a holistic educational experience that equips them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields. Principal of SPPND GDC, Samba, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "This partnership signifies our commitment to nurturing talent and providing our students with the best possible opportunities for academic and professional growth. Through collaboration with FCI, we aim to enhance the quality of education and training provided to our students, ultimately preparing them for successful careers in their respective fields." The signing ceremony was attended by several witnesses from both institutions. Representing SPPND GDC, Samba were Co-convener IQAC, Convener Skill, Convener Academic Affairs, and HOD Home Science. From FCI, witnesses included the FCI Placement Coordinator and FCI Academic Coordinator. With the signing of this MoU, SPPND GDC, Samba, and FCI embark on a journey of collaboration aimed at fostering academic excellence, skill development and industry readiness among students. |
