JAMMU, Mar 6: The negligence on part of Government Medical College and Hospital authorities could be well gauged from the fact that they have failed to update its official website and Dr Aniece Choudhary, against whom an enquiry is still pending, continues to be shown as Principal of GMC&H.
In the official website of GMC&H, www.gmcahjammu.org, in the link of directory, the first contact number is of Principal but instead of giving the contact number of present Principal, Dr. Shashi Gupta, name of Dr. Aniece Choudhary is shown.
Moreover, the head of the ENT department is also Dr. Aniece Choudhary, who was caught in a controversy, for his alleged involvement in killing of a girl of district Doda in December 2012. More than 14 months have been passed, since Dr. Aniece Choudhary has left the office, but still the website of GMC has not been updated by the authorities concerned, which only showed their callous approach.
Pertinently, the name of Dr. Aniece Choudhary had hit the headlines, following death of a child of Doda in year 2012 and an enquiry was also initiated against the episode. |
