NC rally ends in chaos after stage collapses 9/4/2014 12:13:33 AM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 3: Panic gripped Raithan area in central Kashmir's Budgam district today when the stage on which Rural Development Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar was addressing people collapsed. Witnesses said that people who had assembled there took it as a militant attack and ran for cover. "Journalists and the security men who were on the stage fell on each other triggering chaos and confusion. We thought militants have struck," said a witness. "Security guards of the Minister encircled him and took him to a safer place," the witness added. A few people sustained minor injuries. "Soon after the police and security men realized that it was not a militant attack and the stage has collapsed.
