Jammu, Jan 17: Anju Jamwal, guide captain of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bantalab today honored divisional award of BS&G for her outstanding dedicated and meritorious services in the field of Scouting and Guiding in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). According to press release, the award was given in a function organized in the auditorium of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar, where Vice Chancellor of Jammu University R D Sharma was the Chief Guest. KVS decorates its scout masters, guide captains, cub masters and flock leaders every year at Divisional and State level as recognition of their meritorious contribution in the field of BS&G. This year the two staff members of KVS, Jammu Region were selected for this award. Anju Jamwal is trained ALT (Guide) and has the experience of about two decades for catering services in the field of Scouting and Guiding. She has trained her students to get through Rajya Puraskar and other qualifications. One of the students working under her guidance made a niche at international level by getting Silver Prize in Photo Contest in Asia-Pacific Region Photo Contest in Philippines. She was also one of the members to conduct National Special Course of Community Singing organized by National Training Centre (NTC) of BS&G, Pachmarhi (MP). |
