Jammu, Jan 17: The Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu will hold convocation on January 20 here.
''This will be for the second time the convocation is being organised by the GMC Jammu after a gap of three years,'' Dr Ghanshyam Dev, Principal, Medical College Jammu here told reporters.
He said that medals and certificates will be distributed among the pass-out students having professional degrees. ''Medals will be given to four and degrees to 58 aspirants during the convocation,'' said the Principal.
He added that the Jammu University Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma will be the chief guest on the occasion.
''We will start a culture of holding convocations and Annual Day functions every year,'' he added. |
