Udhampur, Jan 17: An unknown vehicle knocked down a minor to death here on Saturday near bye pass National Highway Udhampur, police sources said. A case was registered in this regard.
Police sources said, "The deceased has been identified as Bhjan Singh (15) s/o Sardar Singh of Lanha presently at W-6 Karannagar Udhampur."
According to the police sources, an unknown vehicle hit one minor who
was walking on road side at bye pass Udhampur and sped up from the spot after the accident.
Local and passersby shifted injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur where doctors declared brought died. Police have registered a case and started investigation in this matter. |
